Where is the Water Rat Boot Dryer made?
The Water Rat Gear company is an Australian owned, assembled and designed in Regional Victoria, AUS.
What size boot dryer do I need?
The Water Rat Boot Dryer is an adjustable kit that can be made shorter or taller. The kit contains the appropriate length to fit a standard adult motorbike boot. You can remove sections for shorter work boots, runners, hiking boots, ski boots, gloves and helmets. It will work on smaller boots with the elbow fitting removed.
What's with the shape?
The Fan section of the boot dryer is shaped so that it can hold open the top of boots and so stale air can escape around the corners and edges. The boot dryer can also be used upside down to dry gloves as air can flow underneath the dryer.
How do I pay?

How long does shipping take?
As our company is based in Regional Victoria, it can take a few days for parcels to reach an Australia Post distribution centre. We endeavour to get your boot dryer to you as quickly as possible.

Why isn't it heated?
The concept of the Water Rat dryer is portability, running from a USB power pack or 12v source anywhere . The fans are really strong, the highest spec available, but still can run for hours on a portable battery . The ambient room humidity works for you to provide the heat. (Yes, the ambient air has spare drying capacity! usually 50%) The units works just fine in normal room humidity. If you want to dry faster, just turn on the car heater or the room heater, the fans will push the hot air around and work even faster. Just be careful not to over dry your leather boots by putting them in a high heat environment. Ski boots, are fine to heat as they are plastic and can take the heat . So put these near the car vent or the heater outlet . Without fresh dry air flow from the WaterRat, just heating your boot on its own just creates a stagnant humid Mould factory inside your boot.
